Using the AIRS Data Extracts
The AIRS Data Extracts are free standing tables and files you can generate and import into spreadsheets and database applications for data analysis. Many Data Managers and System Administrators use the AIRS Data Extracts for custom queries, reports, and data cleanups. This video highlights the features found in the v8.9 AIRS Data Extract Engine and provides a few examples of how the extracts can help answer questions about AIRS data.
Using the Drug Regimen History Screens
The Drug Regimen History currently tracks ARV, PrEP, and PEP drug regimens. This video tutorial will review the data entry for these records.

There has been some confusion about the proper use of the Update Tickler and verifying client records. How to Backup Data Using the AIRS Backup Utility
This video will show you how you can quickly and easily backup your AIRS data. We recommend you backup your data daily or weekly using this utility and be sure to also make a copy of your backup and store it on a network drive and a storage medium such as a DVD or flash drive.

Managing Staff and Security Schemes
The AIRS system has robust security features to manage users' access to the system. It is important that users have appropriate access to the system to ensure data integrity as well as protect client confidentiality. It is the role of the AIRS System Administrator to periodically review job titles and security schemes to make sure user access is appropriate. Hepatitis Status History--To record the client's Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C status information for specific dates.
HCV Risk History--To record the client's Hepatitis C risk factors as of a certain date.
HCV Treatment Status--To record the client's treatment information for Hepatitis C as of a certain date.

Agencies contracted by the AIDS Institute to perform STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections) referrals for screening and treatment must use the new STI referral and treatment category within AIRS to document these services.

Getting Ready for the RSR
The following video will show you how to use the AIRS software to generate the Ryan White Services Report (RSR) for HRSA. The RSR is an annual report that needs to be submitted to HRSA via the AIDS Institute. This step-by-step video will give you a brief overview of what the RSR is all about, show you how to use the various reports to analyze and clean up your data in preparation for the RSR, guide you through the process of generating the RSR itself and submitting the file to the AIDS Institute.
